Whether you have a large chandelier in a ballroom or a smaller teardrop chandelier in your home, you will always have a beautiful focal point of any room. A larger chandelier is made up of many different levels and decorations. One of the decorations could be a teardrop. A tear drop shape is one that is larger at the top, and tapers towards the bottom making it look like a pear. A teardrop can be hung from a chandelier from the thicker side making a point at the bottom, or you can hang it on a chandelier from the tapered end, making it look more like an individual earring hanging beautifully.
Some chandeliers are totally in the shape of a teardrop. It can either be one large piece of glass that has the teardrop shape, or it can be a chandelier that has a thicker top and falling easily into a smaller bottom. A teardrop chandelier is perfect for your dining room or formal room because of its beautiful shape and ability to give off a good deal of light.
Whether you have a grand chandelier, or one made specifically for your home, it is a wonderful idea to incorporate the teardrop shape. In groups on a chandelier it gives off a great sparkle to stand out, and the shape is classic.
