Art Nouveau is a French and Belgium name of an art movement in reaction to the academical schools at the end of the 19th century. The movement lasted from approximately 1894 to 1914 and was represented in Europe and eventually in the United States. This highly decorative antique lighting took its inspiration from nature and from women with a very beautiful delicate look.
Originally the Art Nouveau chandeliers started out with the coloring of bronze and gilt, but transformed into various colors. It presents a romantic feeling of eras long gone by.
